Educational philosophies of the Graduate School

The educational philosophy of the graduate school is to develop capable people having creative research abilities and a high level of practical competence in education by imparting in-depth specialized knowledge and professional skills. The purpose of educational research in a professional degree course is to cultivate considerable technical knowledge and practical skills with respect to school education in students.

Courses offered

The graduate school offers four courses: Child Psychology and Special Needs Education Course, Class Management and Curriculum Development Course, Research and Practice of School Subjects Course, and School Principal Candidates Course.

Course Mission
Child Psychology and Special Needs Education Course To develop teachers to enable them to get a good grasp of the personality as well as educational needs of every child, offer suitable teaching and support, and gain in-depth specialized knowledge and practical skills.
Class Management and Curriculum Development Course To develop teachers to enable them to build active classrooms, deliver effective lessons, and develop an appropriate curriculum to improve learning.
Research and Practice of School Subjects Course To develop teachers to enable them to teach subjects effectively and exhibit a high level of practical competence in lesson planning and delivery based on their in-depth understanding of the contents of the subjects and of students.
School Principal Candidates Course
(This is a yearly program; foreign students cannot apply)
To develop school leaders to enable them to comprehend complicated and diverse educational issues appropriately based on deep educational insight, manage schools in an organized way based on best management practices, and build future-oriented schools.
